Howitt Hall has lived up to its reputation as a Hall of excellence, recently taking home the Silver Medal in the MRS Inter-hall soccer championship. After a stunning series games leading up to the finals, the Howitt Team (and its trusty cheersquad) took on a strong Mannix side in the semi-finals. With star performances from every player, Howitt knocked over the favourites, Mannix College, to earn a place in the grand final.

The intense final game saw close to a hundred Howitt supporters line the field cheering for our team. The game was tough and hard-fought against arch-rivals, Farrer Hall. This time, Farrer came out on top after an incredible match, which ended in a penalty shoot out. Congratulations to Farrer, and congratulations to our amazing Howitt team. Congratulations also go to the Howitt cheersquad who turned out in droves to support their team and their Hall.

This year Howitt's Dan Thomas won the Inter-hall mens pool competition. This, combined with a fantastic result in the soccer, and Howitt recently again beating Mannix in the first round of the Volleyball competition, makes Howitt Hall the team to beat this year.
