On behalf of the Howitt RST, I'd like to send our warm wishes all of our Camels and their families for the holidays.

2010 has been an amazing year for Howitt Hall, culminating in Howitt dominating the 2010 MRS awards, proving that 2010 was absolutely the year of the Camel.

To Howittians leaving us here, I hope your time with us was magical, and I know that the memories you've made will last forever.
To our Camels coming back for another round, we can't wait to see in 2011 for another incredible year.

 Howitt Hall has ended an incredibly successful year by being recognised as the overall champion Hall for 2010 in sports, environment, and community spirit at the recent Monash Residential Services Awards Night.

Proud Howittians packed the awards ceremony, supporting our many residents receiving individual awards, but mainly to cheer on and support the Hall as we collected the coveted and highly sought-after InterHall Sports Championship trophy (beating last year's champions Mannix College).

For the second year in a row Howitt also won the Environment Shield (awarded to the most environmentally conscious and active Hall at Monash) and the prestigious Spirit Stick (awarded to the Hall with the most community spirit).

All Howittians should be incredibly proud of our achievements as a Hall and as a community this year.
Congratulations for truly making 2010 the Year of the Camel!

Hello Howitt! The final MRS function is coming up and what a treat we have in store! A 24 hour Movie Marathon will be run between 10am on Saturday the 9th of October and 10am on Sunday the 10th of October. It's easy to get involved in: Sign Up in the Ground Floor Common Room, pay $5 which covers all meals for 24 hours (Subway and other delicious things!) and enjoy some movies. The way the competition works is: Each Hall is a team. Each Hall must have a minimum of 3 members of that team in the MRS theatre at any one time watching the movies.
